GOAL 17 : Partnerships for the Goals

SDG 17 encompasses all the objectives transversally: it offers a common frame of reference on sustainable development for all actors in the world. It fosters strategic alliances between the State, civil society, companies and communities, and proposes topics and means to contribute to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda. The mobilization of all actors is necessary to achieve the SDGs, through different initiatives and tools.

This SDG encourages the creation of public partnerships, public-private partnerships, as well as partnerships with the civil society, at the global, regional, national and local levels. These alliances must be inclusive, based on shared principles and values, as well as on caring for people and the planet. It aims to strengthen North-South and South-South cooperation, as well as regional and international triangular cooperation in various fields. The exchange and sharing of knowledge is essential to strengthen these alliances.
